ANSWERS TO FAQS FROM OUR COOKS

HOW MUCH SHOULD I COOK?
At least 60 sample portions of your dish will be needed for this evening to be a success. If you ran out in previous years, please consider bringing additional portions.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
After you decide whether you will be cooking an appetizer, entree or dessert, read on to find out what time you should arrive to serve. Please note that you can arrive anytime and join in the evening, but these are the times to be there to serve your dish.

Appetizer Cooks arrive at 6:15. Appetizers served in the East Wing from 7:00 to 7:30.

SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING BUT MY DISH?
Bring serving utensils! If you want to keep your dish warm bring your own extension cord(s), hot plate or hot tray. Make certain you indicated a need for electricity when you signed up to cook.

Bring decorations. Dig into your decoration trunk & dress up your table with beads, lights, signs-etc. Use your imagination and win the prize for Best Decorated Table.

Wear something elegant or ridiculous or light hearted. Decorate yourself and you might win Best Dressed Cook.

SHOULD I EXPECT HELP?
A hostess will be available to help you set up. If you are bringing a helper, he or she will be expected to purchase a ticket for $15.

YOU WILL RECEIVE
A Men Who Cook chef's hat and apron and our THANKS for making the event a success.

DO I PAY FOR MY TICKET?
Chefs eat for free; one helper per chef pays $15

Tickets for everybody else are $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children under age 12. Cash bar. The child space has supervision and entertainment for youngsters.
