24 Hours of StrattonA Full Moon, fireworks, and illuminated trails lit the nighttime sky this past weekend as Stratton Mountain Resort hosted the 2nd annual 24 Hours of Stratton, raising over $280,000 to benefit the Stratton Foundation.

The 24 Hours of Stratton is a super fun, family friendly, skiing / snowboarding event for teams of 4-12 who rack up the vertical from noon on Saturday to noon on Sunday. Each athlete can ski for as long as they want over the entire 24 hr period. Prizes are awarded for most individual and team vertical feet skied and for the most funds raised. The Stratton Foundation is honored to continue to make a huge impact on our community. Last year, the Foundation distributed $85,000 to support local Vermont youth-in need, providing food, clothing, dental care, and educational opportunities that these young people could not otherwise afford. The Stratton Foundation is grateful to all who donated and participated in this epic event as we continue to Move Mountains for families as they struggle while their children grow, and to address the cycle of generational poverty.

A special thank you to Michael Cobb and Alan Bushell for managing an incredible event. Thank you to our sponsors & supporters: Hubert Schriebl, The Stratton Mountain Resort, CMH Heli+Skiing, Coatue, ProCalc, Norse House Ski & Sport, My RideZ, Polar, Toyota, GoPro, The Vermont Department of Tourism, EQX, Typestries, Cabin Fever, Heineken, K2, and Client Attraction.
